1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Morning Ritual ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Raj Vardhman ("we," "us," or "our"), the developer of Morning Ritual.
2. Description of Service
Morning Ritual is a guided morning routine iOS application that provides:
- Science-backed morning routines with step-by-step timed guidance
- Voice coaching and audio guidance for breathing, meditation, and exercises
- Gamification features including streaks, points, and achievement tiers
- Mood tracking before and after routines
- Progress history and statistics
The App operates entirely on your device with no server or backend component.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
4.1 Subscription Plans
Morning Ritual offers the following subscription plans:
- Monthly Plan: Billed monthly through the App Store
- Yearly Plan: Billed annually through the App Store at a discounted rate
4.2 Billing
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Prices are displayed in your local currency as determined by the App Store
- Prices may vary by region and are subject to change with notice
4.3 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
4.4 Managing & Cancelling Subscriptions
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select Morning Ritual
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that date.
4.5 Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.
4.6 Free Trial
If offered, free trial periods allow you to experience premium features before being charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose — personal guided morning routines. You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the App
- Distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to circumvent subscription or payment mechanisms
6. Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including but not limited to text, routines, audio guidance, design, graphics, animations, code, and the "Morning Ritual" name and logo — is the intellectual property of Raj Vardhman and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Expert quotes attributed to third parties (e.g., Dr. Andrew Huberman, James Clear, Hal Elrod) are used for informational and educational purposes and remain the intellectual property of their respective authors.
7. Health & Wellness Disclaimer
Important: Morning Ritual is a wellness and lifestyle application. It is not a medical device, and its content does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise, breathing, or wellness routine
- If you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort during any routine, stop immediately
- The App's mood tracking is for personal reflection only and is not a clinical mental health tool
- Research statistics and expert quotes are provided for informational purposes and may not apply to every individual
- We do not guarantee specific health outcomes from using the App
8. Your Data
All your data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for complete details on how your data is handled.
You are responsible for backing up your device. If you delete the App or lose your device, your data (including streaks, progress, and history) cannot be recovered by us.
9. Availability & Updates
- We strive to keep the App available and functional but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- We may release updates to improve features, fix bugs, or adjust content
- Major changes to routines or features will be communicated through App Store update notes
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Raj Vardhman from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with Apple's services (App Store, In-App Purchases, Notifications). Your use of these services is governed by Apple's terms and policies. We are not responsible for Apple's services or any changes to them.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, India.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or App Store listing. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of Morning Ritual.
